Sounds good - I'm putting my kids to bed until about 7:30 in the evenings. The Sacraminyan dinner is at 35th and J, so it should be an easy bike ride or bus ride. I would guess that you could find a ride home after. If you would rather find a…

Thanks big time--I'll call you later on on Thursday.  Mainly wondering how hard is it to get to the event on Friday night in East Sac if I don't drive? Daniel

Hi there,

I will be starting work at CalTrans' office on N Street in downtown Sacramento and would like to find a place ASAP.

I have a light load now, as I just came down from Arcata, and can get by, but once we connect, I'd be going back soon to get my other stuff.

For years the Jewish people have felt pain for Gilad Schalit.  In 2006, the young…

Shape the future

Volunteer and make a Jewish future in Sacramento! A local Jewish educator shares the following opportunity:

I am Ian Lobel, Director of the new teen Midrasha program for Congregations Beth Shalom and Mosaic Law. I am contacting you because we are looking for teachers, and I was hoping that you could help get the word out to any aspiring educators or interested parties at NextDor. Since our program is for teens, I think this is a great opportunity for anyone who is currently,…
