Get ready for the next sacraminyan! Thanksgiving style!
Details below:

It’s that time to be thankful!
In honor of thanksgiving, this month’s theme is…
COMFORT FOOD! Thank Gd for making your comfort food!

We will supply a heaping amount of CHULENT, your shabbos favorite, and you can bring a dish to share that feeds 8-10 of your personal ‘comfort food’ (Dairy or Pareve only).

WHEN: Friday evening, November 12
WHERE: Todd Groudan’s 4804 Willowbrook Dr. Sacramento, CA 95842
TIME: 7pm-
7pm= Schmooze Nosh w/ snacks and wine
7:30= Kabbalat Shabbat
8:30= Potluck-style Nosh

BRING: If the FIRST letter in your LAST name falls between A-N please bring your COMFORT salad/ side dish.

If the FIRST letter in your LAST name falls between O-Z please bring your COMFORT dessert

Sacraminyan Latin Fusion!

Ola, Sacraminyaners! We’re turning it up a notch and going Latin for this coming Shabbat Potluck. Join us for Sacraminyan Latin Fusion on Friday, March 12th in WEST SACRAMENTO!
WHAT: Please join us for a refreshing Kabbalat Shabbat service. And then, a tasty Latin-inspired meal with a wonderful group of Sacramentans. Meet new people and hang out with young Jewish professionals. Eat, schmooze and network!
WHERE: Josh Basofin’s home - 2941 Rubicon Way, WEST SACRAMENTO (near Jefferson Blvd and Linden Road – west of I-5) NOTE: THE HOME IS LOCATED IN WEST SACRAMENTO...NOT SACRAMENTO. THE SAME ADDRESS EXISTS IN SACRAMENTO SO PLEASE MAKE NOTE THAT THIS IS IN WEST SAC!

7:00 - Appetizers and Wine
7:30 - Interactive Service
8:30 - Dinner & Socializing
Please bring a DAIRY OR VEGGIE Latin-themed dish. That means food from Spain, Mexico, Cuba, Puerto Rico and countries in Central and South Americas. Some ideas: Chips and guacamole or salsa, Spanish rice, burritos, cheese enchiladas, empanadas, plantains, rice pudding, bean dish, dulche de leche, tamales, quesadillas, tostada salad, etc. Get creative! Make sure your dish is enough TO FEED 10 and coordinates with the first letter of your last name:
A-I – salad
J-R – dessert
S-Z – side dish

Haven’t had the chance to check out Sacraminyan yet? Start the New Year off by meeting new friends in the Sacramento and Davis communities. Sacraminyan meets once a month on a Friday evening for a lay-led Shabbat service and potluck meal. See you this month on October 23rd!

Bring: Any dairy pot-luck style dish with an Asian-food flair! This month’s Shabbat theme is Asian food! Think edamme, stir-fry, fried ice-cream, etc. Be creative and bring your appetite!
