Hey everyone,
If you are going to watch the NBA finals tonight and don't know who to root for, how about the Lakers and Jordan Farmar?
Why the Lakers? Because they are one of two teams in the NBA with a Jewish player. The first is obvious with Omri Casspi on the Kings, but the other is backup point guard Jordan Farmar. Wednesday I got the call. I was a preliminary match to a 57 year old man who needed a bone marrow transplant. I was both excited and nervous as I would be able to help someone in need, but I would have to undergoe surgery or give Peripheral Blood Stem Cells. A friend mentioned to me that it would be great to save a life and I hadn't of even thought of it that way before, and that would be exciting.
